A dedicated mother, Chelsea balances her professional and personal life while advocating for mothers in business. As a public speaker and mentor, she empowers others with her insights and experiences, showcasing her versatility and dedication to impactful change.

Jas Schembri-Stothart


Jas is one of the Co-Founder of luna, the world’s first digital health companion for teens, think of it like a big sister in your pocket. Together with Jo Goodall, her co-founder, luna is on a mission to be in the hands of teens across the world so they never have to go through adolescence alone again. luna launched this year on the app store, has had over 25k downloads and been Apple’s App of the Day not once, but twice. Jas is a consultant turned entrepreneur. She holds an MBA from Oxford Saïd Business School and outside of work she sits on the Governing Board of her former high school.

Emily McCorkell


Emily Joy McCorkell is an American native who has lived in both Ireland and Northern Ireland for over 10 years. She is a curious and creative person who has grown up in a creative household, with both parents active in cooking and creating cuisines at home. Her desire is to offer creative solutions to the root of so many problems: the problem of being overstressed and undernourished.

Dr Vanessa Awong Eya’a 


Dr. Vanessa Awong Eya’a is an NHS medical doctor who transitioned from investment banking to medicine 10 years ago, all while raising a child. Now a mother of three, she is embarking on a new entrepreneurial venture in women’s health and is also the co-founder of Eve. Despite the challenges, Vanessa proves that with good organisation and a supportive network, balancing a demanding career and family life is possible.

Nadia Bob-Thomas  


Extensive career across the civil service, working in high-profile teams across the Home Office, Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, and HM Treasury.

Most recently, worked across the blue light sector, first as an Assistant Director, Policy Lead, with HM Inspectorate of Constabulary and Fire & Rescue Services, overseeing Child Protection, Counter Terrorism, and Culture inspections of services across the UK.

Current role is instrumental in delivering cultural change at LFB following a recent independent review of the organization’s culture, which found it to be institutionally racist and misogynistic.


Osaze Ighodaro


Osaze is a current industrial placement student from Aston University. She is studying Computer Science with Business and is conducting her placement at UBS as a Quantitative Risk Management intern.

She has held many leadership positions since starting university, including being the President of Aston Entrepreneurship. She also organized one of the largest hackathons this year in the West Midlands as the Women in Technology Lead in Aston Computer Science Society.

Osaze is interested in technology, entrepreneurship, and finance. She constantly advocates for women and people of color pursuing careers in these fields. She is determined to create an environment where students aspire to become individuals they never considered, through education and exposure.

Shaunn Griffiths


Shaunn Griffiths is a research analyst in the Fixed Income division at Fidelity Investments. Fidelity Investments is a leading provider of investment management, retirement planning, portfolio guidance, brokerage, benefits outsourcing, and other financial products and services to institutions, financial intermediaries, and individuals.

In this role, Mr. Griffiths covers the European telecoms, media, and technology sectors as well as European utilities. Prior to joining Fidelity in 2011, Mr. Griffiths was a senior credit analyst at GE Asset Management and a senior credit analyst at ING Bank. He has been in the financial industry since 1999.  Shuann earned his bachelor of commerce degree from the University of Queensland. He is also a CFA® charterholder.

Roxane Sanguinetti


Roxane is an experienced investor, head of Strategy at the quant fund GHCO and co-lead of Alma Angels, an inclusive community of investors actively backing ambitious women founders. Trader by background but passionate about tech and entrepreneurship, Roxane previously held positions at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and an early stage fintech called HUBX. Fierce advocate for diversity & inclusion, Roxane also co-heads the London Chapter of Women in ETFs, a global community of 10,000 professionals.


Louise Jones BSc MA CPsychol 


Louise Jones has been supporting athletes, coaches, and performance directors in British sport for over 20 years, including at 5 Summer Olympics, 1 Winter Olympics, and 5 Commonwealth Games. She has worked with Olympic medalists, World Champions, and top performers across various sports, including professional rugby, tennis, and cricket. At the English Institute of Sport and Sport Wales Institute, she led the Performance Psychology team for 12 years, supporting elite athletes and sports systems. In business, she developed an online Leadership Program with Core4Mindset, delivered motivational talks, and coaches managers and CEOs. She consults for Laing O’Rourke’s Human Innovation and Performance Team and is an associate for Insight HRC.

Passionate about enabling individuals and teams to thrive, Louise has written articles, appeared on Radio 5Live, and guest lectured across the UK. In her free time, she enjoys being with her daughters, family, and friends, and loves the outdoors and the sea.

Daria Preston


Daria is a Change practitioner with 15 years of experience in cultural change initiatives and co-leads the Fertility, Pregnancy, and Baby Loss resource group at the Bank of England. She advocates for policy change and greater awareness of the ‘hidden impacts’ on women including the knock on impact on careers. Covering topics from infertility, women’s health, and pregnancy loss. She launched a policy providing up to one month of fully paid miscarriage leave for pregnancies under 24 weeks, benefiting hundreds annually.  Daria is passionate about driving cultural changes and leading impactful campaigns, last year the iconic Bank building was lit up in pink and blue for Baby Loss Awareness Week.

We’re thrilled to announce Nurture Network LIVE 2024 at Rise, created by Barclays in Shoreditch, London, in partnership with Fidelity, Maddyness UK, and Startups Magazine on Tuesday, 17th September 2024.

Nurture Network Live 24’s “It takes a village” event in London will host over 100 entrepreneurs and business leaders, featuring expert speakers, curated sessions, and unique experiences to create meaningful connections.

We will continue connecting like-minded professional – men and women – who are as passionate as we are about supporting women in their careers. Nurture Network Live strives to connect underrepresented people with people of influence who can inspire, strengthen their leadership, and bring others along with them.
