Tell us about your breakthrough career moment

Starting my own business and being my own boss.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever had?

Know exactly what your business goals are and don’t get distracted by shiny things, that are not in your core business values.

Have you ever felt held back as a women?

No, this has never been an issue for me.

How do you protect your mental health in moments of pressure?

My biggest de-stresser is playing gospel music and singing along, knowing that all things will eventually pass.

Do you have any hobbies to keep you busy in your spare time?

Yes exercise I love going to the gym.

I feel empowered when…

…when I overcome my insecurities about being a new business owner.

The world would be a better place when…

… when we as women learn to put less pressure on ourselves trying to live up to societies image.

The woman everyone should know about is…

… me!

The woman who empowers me the most is…

… my mom, who is 71 years old and still has her own business, selling fish back home in Angola.

Where is your favourite place in the world…

… back home in Angola where I was born.
